Love to Remember

Love to Remember 2011 :  This was my first time to my grandfather's ranch. The last time I started for this place turned out to be dreadful. I couldn't stop the tears when I saw the place my family died. The journey was comfortably silent and Mr. Callahan was not much of a speaker though. The house was quite big for two old people to live but it would've been great for a young man to start a family. It was dark as we entered and Mr. Callahan went into switch on the lights. The house felt more than welcoming like coming home. I felt a sense of relief suddenly. The feelings were very much confusing as I stood on the doorway.

"Come on in" Mr. Callahan said interrupting my thoughts. "I'll take your things to your room" he said moving into a door and I followed him up the stairs to a room. The room was nice and clean. "You'll find everything you need in here. Take rest. Goodnight" he said closing the door. I looked around the room for sometime and went into the bathroom to wash my face. I fell on the bed which was so soft like feathers sinking into a deep slumber.

The next morning I woke up, brushed and opened the door to a nice aroma of hot pancakes. I went down the stairs and into the kitchen and saw him tossing the pancakes in the pan by it's handle.
"Good morning Mr. Callahan" I said announcing my presence.
"Good morning" he said nodding at me with a light smile. I was looking around the well furnished kitchen. "Jane" I heard him call me and turned to look at him. "If we'll be here like this, then, we can at least be like friends" he said and I nodded smiling assuringly at him. "Then please call me Fred, right?" he said smiling too.
"Agreed" I said and sat to have my breakfast when he set plates for us. Taking the coffee mug in my hand, I went to the front porch to see how the place looked like. There was a black sedan standing completely out of place. I wondered if I had come here by that car coz I was not focused on anything yesterday.

Teenage Princess for 2011

Teenage Princess for 2011 :  The drive was short as we pulled in to the alley way behind Jeremy’s base. Dominic got out and opened the door for me. I stepped out with Cris is tow. I felt like a prisoner, But there wasn’t anything I could do to change the fate that had be bestowed upon me. As we walked into the base, Jeremy greeted us with a warm smile. "Back so soon?" Jeremy asked. " Master, we have returned because the princess is in danger, Christy is quickly approaching" Dominic said. Jeremy nodded and took my hand. "Well then she shall stay here, You two are free to go" Jeremy said pulling me with him. Dominic stepped in front of Jeremy. " I’m afraid we can’t let you take her.

But it was gone right away. Dominic nodded and moved out of Jeremy’s way. Jeremy pulled me along with him. Once we were out of sight Jeremy turned and faced me. "Why is that other boy with you?" Jeremy asked. "He’s my guard in training. He isn’t a threat at all" I said. Jeremy pulled me close. "Pitiful girl, Do you think every person you pass is safe. That boy could be carrying guns and even bombs for all you know" Jeremy said. I looked down trying not to cry. I hated lately however one was pointing out all my wrongs. I’ve never been yelled at so much in my life. Even the nurse maid never yelled at me.

Love Includes Everything

Love Includes Everything 2011 :  "Shut up. You raise your nasty voice again, you'll experience a tight slap from me and don't think I won't. Am not Dan to leave you just like that" he shouted at me and I stared at him silently. "Look, leave after my parents are back from church. I don't want them to know what you did. Understand?" he shouted again and I nodded. He closed the door hard on my face himself and I walked back to the bed. I saw the house I lived in through the window and wanted to go back to the days when we all played together.

I didn't go out of the room after that and just sat doing nothing. I didn't even cry. I was so angry, felt that I failed and didn't want to compromise.
"Come down for lunch honey. You are locked up here all day" aunt Daisy said coming into the room with her usual smile.
"No. Just feeling tired" I said and got up to go with her. Everybody in the kitchen were staring at me and Dan wasn't there. I took my seat and Kate served me.
"What's Dan still doing up there. Go call him Riya" aunt Daisy said to her and she nodded, then gave me cold stare and walked out. Everybody took their seat and waited for Dan and Riya to join them. I heard them coming and turned my head to look at him. Dan was smiling at her and his smile faded as he looked at me.

"What is she still doing here?" he asked angrily.
"What?" his mom asked him and he looked at her.
"No mom. Prissy said she had an urgent work and need to go. That's why Dan is asking, isn't it Dan?" Kate asked and he nodded taking his seat quietly.
"Now are you not going for that urgent work of yours?" uncle James asked looking at me.
"No uncle, they got somebody else to do it since I didn't wanna go without telling you both" I said smiling at him. I looked at Dan and his head was bent down.

Best Friends Love stories of 2011

Best Friends Love stories of  2011 :  You ever get the feeling like something wrong, like the secret you have been hiding has been discovered, Alex had seemed angry when he left, I tried to talk to him he slammed the door shut, then I remembered I had put my letters n stuff in my dresser next to my bed with the towels, "Damn it" I said as ran upstairs to my room, I went over to my dresser and saw that towels were gone but everything seemed to be the way I left it, "Maybe he didn't see it" I said trying to convince myself that it was true, yet somewhere inside of me I knew it wasn't true. The next day was kinda of hostile, if I asked him something he would reply with one word nothing else the sparkle that used to be in his eyes were clouded over with hurt and anger. Riki noticed something was up between us and just stayed out of it.

Alex's P.O.V

The next day I picked her up for school like always but I was still hurt and angry, it wasn't like I had went searching for the letters, I had just stumbled across them, I just couldn't get or understand why she hadn't told me but maybe I was judging her to harshly. I mean she hadn't made a decision obviously cuz she had to plane tickets to where the schools were, I couldn't deal with it so I tried to keep the conversation to a minimum, so I wouldn't accidentally say something that would let her know I had found the letters, I would wait for her to tell me on her own time so I guess I couldn't be that mad at her but I was still hurt. Riki being Riki immediately noticed something was wrong but she stayed out of it much to my dismay. I needed her advice but Riki was busy raising twin girls and I couldn't run to her every time, Mitch and I had a problem. On Tuesday afternoon Mitchi and I were having a decent conversation a good one considering I wasn't answering with one word and the air wasn't so hostile, we were sitting on the counter in the kitchen well she was I was leaning against it.

Without Love

Without Love stories :  I woke up in the morning and as decided I went to my cupboard with my eyes closed and looked at all the flowers Brian had given me. A smile spread across my face and I just hugged the flowers. I remembered that I have to go to the boat today. I quickly brushed my teeth, took a bath and got ready and then realized it was only 8 in the morning, too much time is there. I laughed at myself and sat on my bed. I started to think what might happen at the boat today, after all we both know that we love each other and we both have confessed to each other. So today’s meeting might be different. I would have continued to think like that, but Maggie’s knock on the door disturbed me.

As I opened the door, she came inside with a bowl, that means today is the day to get beautiful. I sighed, but Maggie smiled and said "I know you are already beautiful dear, but we have to make sure you stay that way." She was very happy it seems, yeah she will be, because Brian would have given so much money and he is coming back tomorrow too. So all of them have to be happy with me. I wonder how much he would have given to these people. He did not tell me and I can't ask these people. Anyway I took the bowl from her hands and started applying the content to my face. I had already taken bath, so I just hated to apply these sticky and smelly things all over my body and hair. I know it enhances the beauty, but I don’t like to do these things. I started to think of Brian and it really helped me to completely forget about the sticky liquid.

I trust Brian, but after being kidnapped and kept here for 7 months, I can’t even imagine what I will do if I am actually getting escaped from this place. How people will treat me outside? How is my mother? Can I really cope up with the outside world? Will I get caught again? All these things started bugging me. But I was sure for one thing, whatever it is, Brian will be there by my side. I just pray Lord that Brian should not be dragged to any trouble because of me.

Soon it was afternoon and I started leaving for the boat. I had taken that dress which I bought some days ago. I wanted to be somewhat beautiful in front of Brian. I changed into that dress in a public toilet and again headed towards the boat. As I was almost nearing the boat, my phone vibrated. The moment it vibrated I instantly got angry thinking it might be Maggie or Joe calling me for something, but I was surprised to see a message from Brian. It read "Hi Angel, Please come to the boat soon. I am waiting." I was of course happy to see the message from Brian, but I somehow felt it is urgent. I started walking fast and true to his message he was already there.

Beauty Parlor For the Soul

Beauty Parlor For the Soul 2011 :  As part of the daily routine, the two disciples set out to beg for alms. They decided to try their luck with the people who lived on the other side of the river. With due permission from the master, they set off. When they reached the river bank, the ferry was yet in deep waters. It would take a while and so the two of them sat down. There was a wind that tossed the water by the bank and blew leaves in a whirl. Looked like a storm was brewing. A young girl came along and sat not very far from them. She too kept glancing at the ferry, in anticipation. She was beautiful and the disciples just couldn't help but notice the youthful glow and slender limbs. However, as was the rule at the hermitage, none said anything to the other.

In minutes the ferry came closer and the boatman lowered a plank for the trio to get aboard. They seated themselves and listened as the boatman sang a merry tune. The stormy wind tossed the boat as if warning boat and master of consequences, if they dared oppose. The disciples clutched onto their belongings, as if preparing to plunge. The girl looked pale and was obviously terrified at the animated effort being made by the boatman to fight the invisible force. And then suddenly, before any one could brace themselves for the big splash, in they were – boatman, girl and the two disciples!

Ladies in Waiting

Ladies in Waiting  All of us were gathered at the table, waiting in silence for the Queen to arrive. Violet sat fidgeting with her necklace, and Phillipa was drumming her long fingernails on the table, making an irritating rhythm that made me want to rip my hair out. Oh, if i should ever have the misfortune of having to kill someone, I pray that it be her. Suddenly, the door opened, and Queen Catherine De Medici walked in majestically, accompanied by two body guards. We all bowed in respect. The Queen was my age, around nineteen, and not very beautiful. She did have an air aboout her though, something that made you want to listen to her, made you want to please her, but at the same time made her seem slightly arrogant.

Nightmares Turning into Reality

Nightmares Turning into Reality I went near the door and opened it. It was exactly as I saw it in my dreams. The same gown was hanging their.
"Wow! Its beautiful.....so soft, silky...'' Sharon was going mad after the gown. "c'mon Sharon what's so good in it? Leave it and lets concentrate.'' I said.
"No, it's too beautiful I can sit here and stare at it all night.'' oh! Again her melodrama. I pulled her by her arm and said, ''okay we're going back c'mon lets go its dark now.''
At night when I was sleeping I heard some footsteps...
Something is wrong.

Inspirational Stories for 2011

New Inspirational Stories for 2011 : So Liza and Alice walked to Liza's home. As Liza entered in she tried to ignore her father as she didn't wanted to hear him calling her a looser once again. So she headed towards her stair when her father said, ''What happen? Won't you tell me how much fun you had dearie? C'mon you work so hard all day.....spend a minute for your father.''
This was surprising for Liza. She said, '' Um..I just feel tired that's all. I'll be back after an hour and tell you everything.....Alice c'mon up.''
Both Liza and Alice went to her room and Liza was beginning to think that what she thought was a dream is more than that so she asked Alice,'' Hey, Alice do you remember my meeting with the fortune teller the other day at the mall?''
"Mall? C'mon when did we go to the mall. We were so busy for the last two days planning the part you gotta throw for getting an award from high school for making it to the top.'' said Alice

"Oh really? Think I forgot.''
Alice waved liza goodbye and went home. Liza went to her room back again and opened her cupboard to get her clothes but what she saw was shocking. The top shelve of her cupboard was full of awards and medals that she had got for academics. She took one of the trophies in her hand and pinched herself to make believe its a dream but it wasn't her destiny was actually changed. So really everything had changed. Her past and present both.
Liza turned back and saw the fortune teller standing there. She went closer to her and asked her what was happening with her to which the fortune teller replied, ''I told you the day you'll change your past it would change your destiny. You know you never would have been a looser if you would have made right decisions in your life. So for that I took you to your past. You made a correct decision and your life has got a kind of makeover. How is it now?''

"Fantastic, but how did you do that and why did you do this for me?'' liza asked
"Cuz I couldn't see you paying for the mistakes that you did in your past. So I asked god to let my soul down and give you a chance to change your past and am so proud that you did, you did''
"That means you're an angel? Yes, and know what i've always believed in god I didn't see my mother but I believe she's looking over me as an angel.'' their were tears in her eyes.

Funny Thing About Breaking up

Funny Thing About Breaking up :  I have always been able to find humor in every situation, Its a gift and a curse, some might call me foolish but I think its a defense mechanism. Laughter guards me from harsh reality and gets me through to the pleasant aftermath without suffering. I laugh at people getting hurt only to comfort them and help them to their feet when they need a hand. When my uncle was dying I surrounded myself with laughter and good friends to relieve the thought of the greatest man I’ve ever known being taken. I laugh at it all off to a fault. What else does the Court Jester do when his heart is filled with pain? Does he retire, or take hiatus out west and come back with the greatest comeback album of all time? Right now it seems neither option will suffice.

In the beginning there was….. Oh wait that’s the wrong story!

In the beginning of my time with her its seemed like I could do no wrong choosing this route, she was my best friend, my entertainment, and my soul-mate (insert Napoleon Dynamite joke). As a free spirit I made my journey with a zig and a zag, dodging most obstacles while getting pelted by few. I lived my life on a lazy river sipping beer and wearing 30 spf to keep reality at bay. I made the choice to start this whole thing with a heavy heart, knowing that It would put me in a position to lose a lot, not only friends but freedom. With her invitation to ride, my lazy river was now a highway, cruising in the middle lane passing the slow pokes while the busy bodies passed with jealous grimaces piercing my tinted windows. I had that, I had that good stuff, the kind of stuff that’s in books. I had no desire to see romantic comedies because theirs had nothing on mine! We took a few exits on our way to this but it was never a worry because I knew we would be back on the road again soon. This exit has no rest stops, no restaurants, nothing but car lots, and an open door inviting me to step out onto the single lane dimly lit road. What the fuck! Is this where it ends? Is this where I begin the trip on my own? I didn't ask for this I just wanted some Funions! Why did I get ditched? I’ll get Fritto’s instead, I promise, anything, just come back, rescue me from my initial decision. Take me back to my river.

Friendship And Love stories 2011

Friendship And Love,Friendship And Love stories 2011 :  "Jake......um ok and why did you kidnap me?" I didn't kidnap you, I was running from my father, he wants to kill me."

I thought wow that couldn't be true but the kid didn't even smile so maybe it was. "I'm sorry if I scared you, you are beautiful thought, should a taken a 2nd look", he smiled. :D

His smile made me feel like everything was ok but I had to get home because sooner or later my mom would call Jason to see if I was there and Jason would go insane.

We stared at each others eyes and leaned in. Just then I saw a dark, tall figure.

Must've been his father....."JAKE", he roared, it made me shudder but before I could close my eyes, Jake picked me up and off we went.....(yesh....... AGAIN XP)

I was sorta getting tired of it, but I guess I just had to get used to it. :P We were running around the block. Just as I opened my eyes we passed two kids.

As I looked back, I realized that it was Jason and Josh. I think they realized it was me too because they started to run after me and Jake.

Jake ran faster but I knew I had to say something."Um, Jake my friends are chasing us, can we stop?" I asked scared of what would happen. I know I know I should've told him that Jason was my boyfriend and Josh had also fallen in love with me.....that comes in a bit.

"Of course but only for a sec", he smiled assuring me that everything would be ok when it wasn't. We made a stop and Jason and Josh caught up to us.

Before I could say anything, Jason grabbed my waist and Josh just had a blank look with fists in his hands. "Stay away from ily OK?" shouted Jason, I think Jake could tell who loved me now.

"I cant........there's something about her that makes me strong, I cant explain it but my father is getting near so if you excuse me", Jake picked me up and flicked his hand making Jason and Josh go down to the ground.

I didn't say anything, my mind was too blank. Before we started to run, Jake stopped and asked, "Is there anything you want to say to them before we go?", he didn't have an emotion, he was just blank.

Bedtime Story Ideas for Kids

Bedtime Story Ideas for Kids  2011 :  Soft music playing on the side. Cradled in the nook of her arms, as dad kisses my forehead and bids me good night. The kitchen smell on mum's clothes and a wisp of her hair softly caressing my face. And then a story. A story about far away lands and princes and princesses. Of the victory of truth over the evil. Then, somewhere between the princess in the castle and the prince on his shining horse, slowly my eyes droop and sleep takes me into dreams that aren't much different than the bedtime stories, really. The next day passes and again I wait for when mum will take me back into the story land. They still bring a smile to my lips, even after all these years.

Bedtime stories aren't just stories, they are a tradition. A symbol of the security and safety that parents provide for a child. The whole scenario of being with your parents or someone close to you and listening to a story goes way beyond the mere incident. It encompasses so much more. There are the feelings of safety, trust and security that the whole experience evokes and then the stories by themselves create a medium of lesson - of teaching children important lessons like values and morals and helping them distinguish between right and wrong behavior. That is why bedtime stories become important. Furthermore, several studies have proven that relating bedtime stories actually helps children grasp concepts better and they become more secure as children, which then has a positive effect on everything that they undertake.

Short Story Ideas for Kids

Short Story Ideas for Kids  : Considering the overall impact on a kid's brain and thinking, below mentioned are some interesting short story ideas for kids that include necessary elements of a short story, that will give them the necessary learning that is required for their overall development and growth. These ideas are a mixture of informational, educational as well as entertainment purpose.

Moral Based Short Stories
Morals are something which should be inhibited in the child's brain as early as possible. Moral values are of great importance and help a child to develop a decision making ability within itself. Although there are many famous short stories based on morals written already, you can write a new story presenting the importance of morals in today's world. For example, you can write about a girl who always skipped her homework and watched a lot of TV instead. Her parents were never there to check on her and so she neglected her responsibilities and later on she ended up in a big trouble…developing a story based like this definitely indicates today's times where the parents are too busy in their professional lives that they hardly are able to keep a track of their kid's schedule.

Short Stories Based on Overcoming Fear
We all tend to have fear from or towards something as kids. If the fear is left to dwell, it may have a negative impact over the lifetime of the kid. Constructing stories based on overcoming fears will help change the mindset of children and encourage them to fight their fears. For example, some children have the fear the dark which, when left unattended, leads to a fear that stays for lifelong. You can write a story like once a child was locked in the dark room and he was very scared of the dark. The child was all alone but when he managed to overcome his fear, he found surprising things… and so on.

Ghost Stories for Kids

Ghost Stories for Kids   "The lightning flashed, as the boy, driven with the enthusiasm of youth, and blinded by the gleam of gold coins that awaited him, walked into the gates of the mango orchard. The gates creaked, as they were opened. They hadn't been oiled for the past 25 years. Legend had it, that a headless watchman, roamed, the lanes of the orchard at night on a horse, keeping any trouble makers away. Of course the boy did not believe this. So, he set out, in the dead of night, to see for himself, if this headless watchman existed. It seemed like a good idea in the noon, with the sun shining down upon him. But now, with the leaves swaying in the eerie, and silvery moonlight, the boy shivered with fear. But he had to do this. He had to walk through the orchard, till the last tree, and get back to the gate and out. He would be given a pouch of gold coins for it. So, he walked in.

As he reached the fifth row of trees, the light rustling of leaves began. Then came the swooshing wind, whistling in his ears. And as he walked on, trembling with fright, he heard the soft hooves of a horse. The sound gradually became louder, and then he heard the unmistakable neigh of a horse. Without daring to look behind, he ran towards the end of the orchard. The wall was a dead end. He could not turn to any side. The moon hid behind the clouds, making him even more frightened. He tried to see something, anything that would help him, but all he could see, was a velvety darkness. Then, as he slowly turned away from the wall, gathering the courage to make a dash towards the open gates, a bright horse came galloping towards him. Neighing wildly, and seeming uncontrolled, it ran like its tail was on fire. And striding it, was a man. A man wearing the uniform of a watchman, and the shoes of a policeman. The boy did not want to look any higher, for he was extremely shaky. But he finally made up his mind, and looked up, to check for himself. What he saw made his skin crawl, and his hair stand on end. He shrieked in horror, and blacked out, an instant later. The boy was never the same again."

Punker Chapter 22

Punker Chapter 22 :  "You’re not listening." I told Beth, who finally looked away from her locker for the first time since I approached.
"What?"
"I was trying to tell you about Ben."
She blinked up at me for a few seconds, like she were trying comprehend my words.
"Oh... right, yeah, sorry." she mumbled, I had a feeling she still didn’t get what I said. She rubbed her face roughly and shook her head before looking back at me, her expression forced cheer.
"Ok, go ahead. I’m all ears." she said a little too brightly.

"What’s up, Beth."
She turned away. "Nothing. What do you mean?" her voice still held that irritatingly fake happy tone, and it was pissing me off. Usually I’ll leave it alone, they don’t want to tell so it’s their problem, but for some reason I couldn’t let it go anymore with her. So with my own worries temporarily forgotten, I pried further.
"Tell me." I demanded, in my head it had been firm, but it was a soft-almost comforting-voice that drifted to my ears now.

She froze. Hands adrift in mid air, like she’d momentarily forgot her train of thought. She wanted to tell me. I could tell from the tightness in her face how difficult it was for her to hold it back. Just tell me, I thought hoping it’d reach her, you can trust me now.
Couldn’t she, I questioned.
Yes.
Because I would never hurt her. Because I would keep her secrets safe.
Because I trusted her.
"Beth..." I grabbed her outstretched hand. Curling my fingers around hers.

Her eyes snapped to mine, and in them I saw what she hid behind her smiles and cheer. Weariness, sadness, but most of all I saw fear, so much fear. I was at a loss. I wanted say something, anything, but my mind was blank. What I possibly say to the one person who I thought fear was impossible? That’s stupid, she’s human like everyone else, of course she got scared sometimes. But she’s nothing like everyone else. She’s Beth. She’s my friend, the only true one I’ve ever had. And her fear terrified me.

The sound of her phone going off made us jump apart. I stepped away, maybe further than necessarily. I just felt closed in by the moment, a weird tingling radiating through my body. Goose bumps covered my arms even though I wasn’t in the least bit cold, and I quickly tried to rub them away. Beth took out her phone to check the number. I watched as the color drained from her face, I stepped closer. She backed away from me. Panic to keep the identity of the caller a secret from me. I knew any hope of her confessing was lost.

"I’m sorry." she mouthed, rushing past me to take the call in private. Overhead the bell sounded for first period, but I waited till she was out of sight before I headed off to class. I had every intention of getting the truth out of her at lunch. I even had a plan. I would ease it out, never pushing too hard, let her know it was safe to tell me, that I could held her; even if I wasn’t so sure of that. Whatever the problem was, it was serious. Beth didn’t stress over the little crap. But she didn’t show for lunch. She didn’t show up the rest of school.
